半岁了

Time flies, it's hard to believe that Derrick is 6 months already. I still can remember those last winter days when we took Caroline out to Botanical Garden and I was carrying a big belly. Suddenly, he is a 20 lbs old big baby boy :)

Stats from last week's ped visit, 20 lbs 2 oz, 70 cm, both at about 90%. He rolled over at 3 month old, sit at 5 month old, now he loves to stand if there is somebody to hold his hands, he can even straddle around with a little bit of help. Hoding on something (e.g. coffee table), he can stand for at least 10 seconds. He even tried to stand by himself just pulling something.

He has been a good eater since the beginning, now he just craves table food so he got fed a little bit of everything from time to time. He has been a good sleeper until about a week ago, he started to get up several times a night, maybe he is teething.

We just came back from a trip to Lancaster county, PA. Derrick behaved as well as he could be, but it's still too tiring to take out such a small baby. And there is a turf war to grab grandma's attention between Caroline and him. We met another young baby at a restaurant, who is 7.5 month old, but I am proud to see that Derrick looks bigger than him.

All in all, he is our little happy prince and we all love him very much!
